The St. Augustine Beach Pier Reopens in time for warmer weather.

The St. Augustine Beach Pier is now open for fishermen, sightseers, and any visitor since being closed since last August when the U.S. Army Corps discovered damage to the pier structure.  After months of hard work on shoreline restoration efforts, the pier is now open. Only the last 100 feet of the St. Augustine Beach Pier remain closed until further notice.

Access to the pier is usually 24 hours a day. Pier entry fees or an annual pass are required during the hours that the Gift Shop is open.  The Gift Shop is open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. each day.  All annual fishing and sightseeing passes sold before the pier’s closure have been extended seven months past their original expiration dates. Current fees are:

  • General Public – $2.00
  • Fishing (By the day):
    • St. Johns County Residents – $4.00
    • Non-Residents – $6.00
